Good experience, would use again
I was a little apprehensive about ordering as reviews are mixed. But it's a proper bricks and mortar department store and you can use Topcashback with them so I figured they are legitimate, just perhaps not as set up for online retail like other places.

The duvet I ordered was cheaper than anywhere else, dispatch was quick with Parcelforce tracking provided. I'm giving them 5 stars as there's no reason not to.

Had stock when I ordered then cancelled as no stock
Accepted my order with stock showing, Less than 24 hours later cancelled my order as item I wanted out of stock. Basket case supplier!

Excellent..
Was a little apprehensive about ordering some cricket items from a non-specialist sporting shop but needn't have worried. Items arrived the day after ordering, precisely as expected and at an excellent price. Very pleased with the purchase and service.

Placed an order yesterday after…
Placed an order yesterday after receiving poor customer service.

Also, the item I purchased was £9 dearer than the manufacturer themselves. So I queried this.

Today, I got an email stating that the item I purchased was sold out and my order has been cancelled.

I think this may be a record for the number of issues I’ve had with 1 company and in under 24 hours.

I’ve contacted c/s who don’t really care. So I’m leaving some feedback on here to hopefully discourage people from spending their money at Jarrold. Invest in the businesses that want to do well and want to please their customers.

It doesn’t take a lot but means a lot to be on the receiving end of good c/s.

Excellent service and well packet product.
We ordered some Denby white crockery online. The price for the products was good and they were in stock. They arrived in good time exceedingly well packed and there were no breakages. They were the best packed items I have bought online. So overall very pleased with the experience and would use them again.

Ordered an £1100 bed
Ordered an £1100 bed, when delivered the delivery driver declined to put the bed together, later when we came to put in together in turned out to be faulty and would not fit together. On ringing the store and speaking to the department head, they offered no solutions, and it was left for me to make a number of suggestions, we agreed they would send out their driver to look at the bed, and that I would get a call on Monday morning having heard nothing by 11.30, I called in to be told the warehouse had been told to call me, by 3.30 still no call, On calling back the was no ownership of my complaint and I cancelled my order. We have brought numerous piece of furniture from Jarrolds and previously had good service, so very disappointed, we have always wanted to support a local store, following this review I was contacted later that day and promised a call the next day, which I received, the delivery drivers then came out and fixed the issue, so faith in Jarrolds was restored.

Had a hamper gift arrive for xmas and was delighted by the quality and individuality of the items. Decided to look at their deli shop online and succumbed to ordering a dozen items..

Swift comms told me one was out of stock and wouldn't be charged. The rest on their way, which took 24 hours to complete it's journey. Excellent packaging, am very pleased with all the experience. Will use again.

Don't order online
I received an order online that included a pair of boots that were faulty. On returning them I sent a written letter that included details of the fault (as was requested on their returns page... hello dark ages). Just checked my statement to see that they have only refunded the amount totalling the items I returned and not the £13+ that signed for postage cost because of the heavy boots. Like others, I ordered from here to support an independent store, but they have not stayed true to their word and refunded postage for errors on their behalf.

Would recommend!
Ordered two bags from Jarrold. They were dispatched promptly and they are gorgeous. Great service and excellent range of products. Will definitely use their website again! Wish they had a store nearer to me!

Similar story to many on here
Similar story to many on here. Ordered an item online 3 days ago only to get an email saying it's a "stock error" and they can't source stock from their supplier. Now can't get from other places who had stock at the time. Never ordered from here before, safe to say I won't again

Extremely Disappointed
This morning I placed an online order for an item which was in stock only to receive an e-mail some hours later advising it was no longer available.
This is my first and last time using this company and wouldn't recommend them.

Show items in stock that they don’t have.
They Show items in stock that they then cancel your order and blame supplier stock- not what you need on Black Friday weekend, as trying to re source kids toys for Christmas is challenging enough in these time of low supply- Jarrod sort out you stock control and you wouldn’t get 37% of customers rating you 1 star!!!
